Can I write a book? Don't know yet. Getting character development together is time consuming.
When I first had my ideas for a story, I just didn't realize how much back story I would need. Each person had a full life and I had to come up with it. Now I know that seems very basic, but it just didn't occur to me.
Is my main character totally good? What flaws does she have? Do I just fill in her backstory as I go along? I want people to feel like they know her. What her to do well, catch the bad guy and get the man. Her love life is a big question for me. How much is too much? Lots to think about.
I am going to finish the chapter today.
